  4. 1 C salt
  5. 1 T baking soda
  6. 5 eggs
  7. 2/3 C flour
  8. 1/4 C sugar
  9. 1 t cayenne pepper
  10.  
  11. Brown salt in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  12. Combine browned salt with baking soda, flour, sugar, and cayenne
  13. pepper, mixing thoroughly.  Beat eggs until fluffy, then add to
  14. dry ingredients.  Bake in greased loaf pan at 500 degrees for
  15. 30 minutes.
